Element 8 Entertainment and MASTERPIECE
In an era of bonnets, rigid corsets, and even more rigid patriarchy, Eliza Scarlet is making a name for herself, picking up new cases and drawing the attention of new rivals.
In the next episode of Miss Scarlet and The Duke, Angel of Inferno, Eliza is hired to solve a case of blackmail in the seedy world of Victorian medicine. She also finds herself drawing the attention of a new rival, Patrick Nash, the owner of another detective agency.
Nash tries to persuade Eliza to join his agency – and if she won’t, he’ll crush her business. At least Patrick is rightfully intimidated by her ability to solve the trickiest of cases. And Eliza is confident she is up to the challenge.
Watch Miss Scarlet and the Duke Sundays at 8pm through the PBS Video app or on WITF TV. Episodes are free to stream for two weeks following their television premiere, but WITF Passport members can binge the entire new season (and season one) using the PBS Video app.
