Radio

Here’s how to listen to WITF

Over the air

WITF uses three frequencies to broadcast our radio programming.  The main signal is 89.5 broadcasting from the top of Blue Mountain just north of the city of Harrisburg.  WYPM simulcasts at 93.3 serving most of the Cumberland Valley.  A low-power signal is available in downtown Lancaster at 99.9 broadcasting from the Griest Building.

Please note coverage maps indicate anticipated reception.  A variety of factors may interfere with this coverage.  Assistance with maximizing optimal reception is available here (link to Troubleshooting Broadcast Reception)

Smart speaker

WITF’s radio broadcast is available to stream through the three leading smart speaker vendors.  For Google Home and Amazon Echo, use the wake word to your device and say “Play WITF”.  For Apple Homepod users, ask Siri to “Play WITF Radio”.  Apple Homepods are using a different directory compared to Amazon and Google. You need to include the word “radio” in your request otherwise you will get something other than WITF.
