WITF and PA Post are looking for 2 new reporters through our partnership with Report for America to join our newsroom. One reporter will focus on Latino communities along the Route 222 corridor which include Reading and Lebanon. The other will cover Latino communities across several counties and how they are involving themselves in the 2020 national election.

WITF has an exciting opportunity for a creative and organized individual to join our team full time. The Production Assistant will work with the SVP & Chief Content Officer and the Multimedia Production Manager to assist in the planning, execution and coordination of WITF’s productions of local and/or state-wide projects including, but not limited to: production schedules, research, corporate image spots, interstitials and special projects. The P.A. will also be responsible for coordinating productions, schedules and working both in studio and in the field in numerous hands-on positions as well as successfully organizing and creating a production board that will enable everyone within the department to understand the status of individual productions. This role will also occasionally act as an associate producer and/or a production assistant on multiple projects and productions.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience working at an established television station or production facility. The ideal candidate should be able to juggle multiple tasks with proven experience with organizing schedules, project lists, crew organization and assignments.

WITF offers resume-building, academic experience to college students across a variety of disciplines. While our internships are unpaid, interns using their internship for academic credit have the opportunity to apply for a stipend through the Chronister Internship Endowment.
