Human Resources Assistant
WITF is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. The HR team at WITF serves a group of over 200 employees between WITF and its subsidiaries throughout Central Pa. In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Senior Director of HR, answer questions on pay, benefits, and policy to members of our staff, and provide support with recruitment, culture, payroll, and other associated areas. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least one year of work on a dedicated HR team. Experience as a super user of an HRIS is a must. Candidates should be professional, friendly, and outgoing while helping staff to navigate and solve difficult issues. The HR team serves the staff of WITF, LNP Media, and other subsidiaries. Some travel between Harrisburg and Lancaster is required.
Continuity & Copywriting Specialist
Are you organized, like to write, are deadline oriented, and a team player? We’re looking for you! Our Continuity Specialist works closely with our Corporate Support, Programming, and Production teams to ensure that the sponsorship messages we share on television, radio, and digital are consistent and meet regulatory requirements. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys writing and thrives in a team-oriented environment. A bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of experience writing in a professional setting, and strong skills in Microsoft Office are required. Business Analyst
WITF is seeking to hire an innovative and motivated Business Analyst who will work as an integral part of a dynamic team in partnership with peers and executives. They will lead the continued growth of our Business Intelligence environment, manage all activities related to financial and membership analytics, and design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and automated workflows to bring data-driven insights to our organization.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in management information system, data science, computer science, business, and/or finance and at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with financial documents, accounting terminology, and data reporting are a must.
Education Reporter
Are you a journalist who enjoys reporting on topics that directly affect your community? WITF is looking for an engaging individual to join our team and provide written and on-air coverage of the developing cultural battleground over what students are taught in K-12 schools. As a member of WITF’s regional newsroom, your reporting will focus on community engagement and work to improve the level of conversation around educational policy and their impact on teachers, students, and communities.
Candidates should have at least five years of experience as a journalist with experience reporting on-air. WITF believes that community engagement is key to effective journalism. You should be driven to be out in the communities we cover, talking with our neighbors. If you’re outgoing and believe in strong community-focused journalism, this could be the job for you.
