It’s Christmas in Darrowby and seismic changes are coming into the lives of our favorite residents. Make sure you grab your tissues… this one’s another tearjerker!
In last week’s series finale, we saw the boys sign up to fight as war is declared against Hitler in September 1939. Now, in the Christmas special, we learn that huge changes are threatening the very foundation of Skeldale House.
Skeldale House looks different this year. There’s no extravagant Christmas party and just one understated mistletoe. An evacuee named Eva brings her Jewish traditions to Skeldale House too, but she’s excited to celebrate Christmas – even if she thinks the traditions are a little strange.
Then, Siegfried is forced to make an impossible decision – will he protect his little brother or his patient River’s wellbeing? We also find that Mrs. Hall must face her ever-growing fondness for Gerald. Skeldale House is changing forever.
