  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

We’re coming up to the premiere of Sanditon Season 2 on Masterpiece. This is the long awaited second season to Jane Austen’s unfinished work. The first season originally broadcast on WITF in January of 2020.

The second season will get started on WITF Sunday March 20 at 9pm. The series will also be available to stream on-demand through the PBS Video app.

In the meantime, check out a Sanditon Season 1 on Masterpiece marathon Sunday March 13. The marathon gets started at 4pm and runs to midnight.  You are also welcome to binge the first season on your time through the PBS Video app if you are a WITF Passport Member.
