(Lancaster) — A minor baseball all star game is returning to Lancaster next year, after an eight-year absence.

The Atlantic League is planning the event for July 13th at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

It calls the game the premier showcase of professional players in the U-S, outside of major league baseball.

This will be the second time Lancaster has hosted the contest – its first was in 2007.
