(Philadelphia) — The Philadelphia Eagles will kick off their first NFL playoff game in three years, tonight, in prime time.

First-year Coach Chip Kelly credits his players for working hard all season.

“I think everything that we’ve done this year as a team is a direct reflection on those players,” he says.

By winning the NFC East, the Eagles earned the right to host the New Orleans Saints.

Kelly says giving the fans a home playoff game is the team’s way of paying them back for their support.

“They’ve been great every game we’ve been in the Linc… the ‘we want Dallas’ cants in the Chicago game, or how loud they were at the Detroit game in the snow.”

The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-6, having won seven of their last eight regular season games.

The Saints are 11-5. Kickoff is set for shortly after 8 p.m.
