(State College) — The Nittany Lions will be looking for their first road win of the season when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at noon in Minneapolis.

Penn State has a 5 – 3 overall record — officially 0 – 2 on the road.

Coach Bill O’Brien says his team has battled through some ups and downs this season.

“At times we’ve played well as a team. At times we haven’t,” told the media at his weekly news conference. “I think after the season is when we’ll really focus on that and see why that was. Right now it’s important for us to level it off and continue to compete and play well.”

The Governor’s Victory Bell is up for grabs each time the Nittany Lions and Golden Gophers play, dating back to 1993.

Penn State’s Allen Robinson ranks second in the NCAA with more than 130 receiving yards per game. He only needs 42 more yards to break Bobby Engram’s school record of one-thousand-eighty-four yards in a single season.
