Prosecutors in Georgia may want to hear from midstate GOP Congressman Scott Perry.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Perry is among nearly 200 people on the Fulton County prosecutors witness list who could be called in their investigation into former President Donald Trump’s election interference case.
Others on the list are former Vice President Mike Pence, ex-Attorney General Bill Barr, and onetime Justice Department officials Jeffrey Rosen and Richard Donoghue.
The names were provided to the media organizaiton by several people who have reviewed the witness list, and confirmed by some who have been told they could be called to testify.
The case now has 15 defendants, including Trump and former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
They have been accused of engaging in a racketeering conspiracy to overturn the results of Georgia’s 2020 election.
References to Scott Perry’s communications over his role in attempting to overturn the 2020 election results were among documents were briefly unsealed last week in another court fight.
He represents the 10th congressional district — which encompasses Dauphin County and portions of Cumberland and York Counties.
