Dauphin County’s Nye’s Road to close until October

(Harrisburg) — A busy road in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County will be closing for construction work.
Nye’s Road is scheduled to be closed at Devonshire Heights Road beginning Monday and lasting for nearly four months.
The closure will allow for the continued rebuilding and realignment of the dangerous intersection at a cost of nearly 4-million dollars.
Traffic lights will also be installed.
PennDot officials say a detour will be in place throughout the closure using Old Jonestown Road, Jonestown Road, Route 22 and Locust Lane.
