(Columbus, Ohio) — It’s one the the most important games in recent Penn State Football history.

The 9th ranked Nittany Lions travel to Columbus today to take on the 2nd ranked and undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes.  Kickoff is at noon.

It’s the fifth ranked opponent in the last six games for Penn State.

Ohio State comes into this one owning the second longest active winning streak in the country with 16-straight.

And they boast both the top scoring offense and stingiest defense in the nation.

Penn State is led by quarterback Sean Clifford and electrifying wideout and return specialist KJ Hamler.  The Lions defense has also been stout, ranked 7th nationally in points allowed.

The importance of the outcome is huge.  Penn State is a big underdog, but if they can pull the upset and win next week against Rutgers they would play for the Big Ten championship and a shot at the national title.
