Midstate high school student dies in 8-vehicle crash

(Lancaster) — A Warwick High School student in Lancaster County died in an eight-vehicle collision caused by a 63-year-old woman who was “driving erratically,” according to Lancaster Online.

The woman and four others were transported to the hospital from the crash that happened shortly around 3:19 p.m. in the 200 block of West Orange Street, the newspaper reported.

Lancaster County 911 received calls about the reckless driver, and a police officer attempted to pull over the car. The driver took off, and police terminated the pursuit.

The crash happened about two miles away.
