Flooding concerns continue with more rain forecast

(State College) — The National Weather Service in State College has once again issued a flood watch for the midstate and many other regions of Pennsylvania from this evening through Monday night.
Some shower activity is possible throughout the day today, but forecasters say things should pick up overnight tonight, all-day Sunday and into Monday.
Forecasters say the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon could drop several inches of rain on an already water-logged south central Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says to expect the possibility of flooding along streams and creeks, as well as in low lying areas.
Once Gordon passes through all eyes will be on Tropical Storm Florence which is currently churning in the Atlantic Ocean.
Forecasters say Florence could become a hurricane on Sunday and is currently tracking toward landfall in the Carolinas.
There’s a chance Pennsylvania could see the effects of Florence sometime late next week.
