Harley-Davidson looking to hire 125+ employees in York County

(York) — Looking for a job? Harley-Davidson is hiring.
As the company expands its production lines, it is looking to hire 125 to 150 assembly team employees at its York County facility within the next two months, according to a news release.
This news comes about three months after the company announced it would shift all of its Kansas City, Missouri, production to its Springettsbury Township plant. The shift will bring in total about 450 full-time, casual and contractor positions over the next year and a half, the company said in January.
The York County Economic Alliance will hold a hiring informational session Monday, May 14 at Crispus Attucks Gym, located at 605 S. Duke St. in York. The session will go from 5 to 7 p.m. Resumes are required.
Harley-Davidson has recently “banned the box” from its application process, according to the news release. That means the company has removed the checkbox that asks applicants if they have committed a crime and will now consider ex-offender candidates.
