Clinton hits Trump on taxes, outsourcing, and more in Harrisburg

(Harrisburg) — Democrat Hillary Clinton is working to capitalize on GOP nominee Donald Trump’s struggles of late.
At a rally in Harrisburg Tuesday, the Democrat was in high spirits and on the attack.
After introductions from the likes of Governor Tom Wolf and U.S. Senator Bob Casey, Clinton bashed Trump on outsourcing jobs and importing building materials from foreign countries, and called him a hypocrite for avoiding paying income taxes.
One of her more heated criticisms came in response to Trump calling the housing market crash a “great opportunity” for investment in 2009.
“Now who says that? Who wants that to happen?” Clinton asked. “Somebody who is so out of touch with what’s going on in America living in his big tower, he has no idea what’s happening.”
She even also drew several laughs, at one point deriding Trump’s tax claim that he lost nearly one billion dollars in the ’90s.
“I mean, who loses money running a casino besides Donald Trump? I don’t know that that’s much of a credential,” she said.
The rally drew more than 1,500 supporters to Zembo Shrine.
A new F&M poll has Clinton up by nine points in Pennsylvania among likely voters, widening her lead in a pivotal state.
