(Harrisburg) — Governor Tom Corbett has ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Lebanon County lowered to half-staff in honor of a fallen firefighter.

Bruce Sensenig of Warwick Township served with the Quentin Volunteer Fire Company.

The 20-year-old was responding to an emergency with the fire company on Monday evening when he was killed in a car crash.

Authorities say he apparently lost control amid heavy rain and his car was struck by a minivan.

The governor’s office says Pennsylvania flags shall remain lowered until sunset on Friday, July 26th, the day of Sensenig’s interment.
