More than 1,000 paper luminaries decorated Mount Nittany Medical Center’s healing garden Monday evening, during an event to honor healthcare workers who have worked throughout the pandemic.

The hospital was caring for 30 COVID-19 positive inpatients ranging from ages 25 to 94 as of Thursday.

While Mount Nittany Medical Center has been seeing a growing number of people for COVID-19, until now, those being admitted were all adults.
