Pennsylvania state senators have voted unanimously to transfer control of what had been the lieutenant governor’s residence at Fort Indiantown Gap to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

A measure that moved from committee Tuesday would give the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs jurisdiction over the building and close it off to future lieutenant governors.
