The pandemic has been good for the ultra rich like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos whose fortunes are tied to the stock market.
Richard Branson, the British billionaire, plans to blast into space on Sunday from New Mexico aboard a rocket made by his company Virgin Galactic.
The scheduled July 20 flight comes on the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969.
The new CEO will be Andy Jassy, the head of Amazon’s cloud computing division. “As much as I still tap dance into the office, I’m excited about this transition,” Bezos said.
