It’s not over: COVID-19 cases are on the rise again in US
The U.S. may be heading into another COVID-19 surge, with cases rising nationally and in most states after a two-month decline.
Health officials in New York said that two new omicron variants are spreading rapidly in the state.
A strain of the omicron variant, called B.A.2 is spreading across the U.S., including here in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
Though mu has mutations suggesting that it might be more transmissible and could evade the antibodies produced by the current vaccines, that has yet to be confirmed.
