Despite being more user-friendly, WIC enrollment still falling in Allegheny County
In July 2019, Allegheny County was one of the first Pennsylvania counties to complete the transition from paper checks to electronic benefit cards. Since then, WIC participation among Allegheny County residents dropped about 6 percent.
