Hi, Neighbor! Celebrate being a caring neighbor with us at Be My Neighbor Day at the North Museum of Nature and Science in Lancaster!
Saturday, April 27 • 10am – 1pm
North Museum of Nature and Science
400 College Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603
This FREE family event, supported by PNC Grow Up Great®, offers a lot of space to wonder, imagine and create together. Meet our community helpers and learn how to be a helper in your neighborhood! Plus, you can meet and get your picture taken with Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood!
Families and children will enjoy bilingual story times, design a Caring Neighbor Kindness Card to send to a loved one, go on a Kindness Quest, learn about our pollinator friends, explore how coding and robotics are helping our neighbors every day, and much more!
In the spirit of being a caring neighbor, Goodwill Keystone Area will host a children’s clothing drive during the event. Families are encouraged, but not required, to donate gently used children’s clothing at a collection bin.
Children will receive a free book that explores how to be a helper and will have a chance to make special gifts for family, neighbors and friends!
Admission to the North Museum is free during Be My Neighbor Day.
Families can check in anytime between 10am and 1pm, but we suggest allowing at least one hour to visit all the stations. The pace and number of activities you choose to enjoy is up to you.
Street parking is available around the museum or just a short walk away.
