WITF is once again teaming up with America Amplified to answer the questions you have about how to vote in the 2024 primary in Pennsylvania, how the elections process works and what questions you have for the candidates.

One note of transparency about this project:
America Amplified will use generative AI to gather verified information from state election offices to respond to your questions. Responses will be drafted using, in part, the information gathered by the GAI tool. They will be edited, revised and verified by America Amplified and public media station newsroom staff. Stations will work with America Amplified’s Engagement Support staff to access questions, review and approve answers that will be sent back to the questioner and published online. If you have questions or concerns about the use of GAI for this project, reach out to Alisa Barba, managing editor, at alisa@americaamplified.org.
The initiative is hosted by WFYI in Indianapolis and is funded by a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to support community engagement journalism in traditionally underserved areas. The initiative builds on a similar project in 2022 to help public media stations provide critical information about voting during the midterm elections.
