Beloved home cook, Dame Mary Berry takes us on a trip to her mother’s homeland of Scotland for the Christmas holiday. Joined by her closest friends Iain Stirling, Andy Murray, and Emeli Sandé, she makes an array of sumptuous holiday dishes.
Berry has had an expansive career, starting with her education at the Bath School of Home Economics and her training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. During the ‘60s, she was the cookery editor for Housewife magazine and Ideal Home magazine. She starred in her own television show, Afternoon Plus, in the early ‘70s and spent the 1980s writing cookbooks and filming for various BBC series. And she launched her Aga Workshops, an at-home cooking school, in the ‘90s.
With her years of expertise, Berry’s ultimate mission is to get everyone cooking and baking at home. So, grab your apron and tune in for a decadent feast.
Watch Mary Berry’s Highland Christmas December 18 at 9pm on WITF TV or the PBS or WITF App. Livestream it for free or stream it on demand with WITF Passport.
