Doc Martin season eight resumes in Portwenn with Martin and his wife, Louisa (Caroline Catz, DCI Banks), finally living together again with their son James Henry. However, their problems are far from over and Louisa finds herself juggling too many responsibilities at once. And as Portwenn prepares for a wedding, Bert hopes to profit from the festivities.
Guest stars include Kevin Doyle (Molesley in Downton Abbey) as Morwenna’s father, and Academy Award-nominee Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Ghostbusters and Avatar) as an American tourist in need of medical assistance while traveling in Portwenn.
