Conservative Harrisburg firm advising Pennsylvania school board on books, LGBTQ issues says report

The Harrisburg-based Independence Law Center is described as a conservative, religious liberties law firm that is working with school boards across the state to implement policies that that “create a toxic environment for LGBTQ students.” The law firm has also advised school boards on guidelines for limiting books that may contain sexual references.

That’s according to reporting by USA Today Network Pennsylvania that includes the York Daily Record, Lebanon Daily News, Chambersburg Public Opinion, Hanover Evening Sun and Bucks County Courier Times.
