President Biden will deliver what the White House has called his “first primetime address” on Thursday, March 11.

NPR News and PBS Newshour plan to carry this address and will be available on radio, television and our digital platforms beginning at 8:00pm.

The remarks will mark one-year since COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization and shutdowns ensued. Special coverage is expected to last about 30 minutes.

Special coverage is available through radio, television and live streams.

Adjustments to our television schedule:

  • 8:00pm – PBS NewsHour Special Coverage
  • 8:30pm – Urban Forge: Ozark Artistry (previously at 8:00pm)
  • 9:30pm – Joyful Pain Free Living with Lee Albert (previously at 9:00pm)
  • 11:00pm – BBC World News – return to previously scheduled programming

Adjustments to our radio schedule:

  • We will join Think already in progress at the conclusion of NPR’s special coverage
