  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

Enjoy an uplifting comedy-drama about romance and second chances. Childhood sweethearts Alan (Derek Jacobi) and Celia (Anne Reid), both widowed and in their 70s, fall for each other all over again when they are reunited after nearly 60 years.

The celebratory tale of the power of love at any age is also a story about family — a family with baggage. Alan and Celia’s daughters, whose dysfunctional lives bring drama at every turn, would never dream of getting in the way of their parents’ happiness. But somehow they just can’t help themselves.

Last Tango in Halifax is on WITF every Sunday at 7. WITF is rebroadcasting all three seasons this spring and summer leading up to the premiere of season 4 this fall.
