(State College) — A large portion of Pennsylvania, including the mid-state, is in the path of a mix of winter weather.

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 1:00am to 1:00pm Sunday.

Sleet and freezing rain is expected to develop late tonight and continue into mid-morning tomorrow.

Some untreated roads and sidewalks may be icy.

Counties included in the advisory are Franklin, Perry, Dauphin, Lebanon, Cumberland, Adams, York and Lancaster.

Forecasters say temperatures are expected to rise slowly tomorrow and the precipitation will change to all rain Sunday afternoon.
