Police say I-81 homicide not connected to road rage incident

(Harrisburg) — The man found dead along the side of Interstate 81 late Monday night was killed by a single gunshot to the head, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police are investigating the death of Tyrone Shaw, 46, of Roselle Park, New Jersey, as a homicide. They also determined his death was not connected to a multi-vehicle road rage incident that occurred the same night, as was previously thought.
Public tips and investigator information revealed Shaw and his black 2004 GMC Yukon were seen from 6:30 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. on the shoulder of I-81 North near mile marker 75.4 in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County. His vehicle had a rear flat tire and its lights on. When a trooper arrived at the scene, he found Shaw’s body between the vehicle and the guide rail.
Pennsylvania State Police are asking commercial vehicle companies for dash cam footage that may have captured critical information at the scene. The coordinates are 40.343439, -76.7438832.
