A Tour, A Tea & Victoria

Victoria & Albert

Long live the Queen!

Join WITF at the museum at LancasterHistory.org for a tour of Wheatland, a Tea that Queen Victoria would approve and a preview of the highly anticipated new season of Victoria.

Learn about Queen Victoria’s lifelong friend, Harriet Lane, the niece to President James Buchanan. Harriet Lane lived in Wheatland with her uncle and traveled with him to London when he was the minister to the Court of Saint James in 1854. There, the Queen grew fond of “dear Miss Lane” and their friendship continued through the rest of their lives.

Enjoy the first 60 minutes of Victoria royal drama before it premieres on WITF TV.

Love dressing for an occasion? You are welcomed to attend in your favorite hat or Victorian-inspired attire! We’ll have prizes for guests who come that embrace the Victorian themed day.
