Explore the nature influenced abstract paintings of painter and designer Angela Lapioli at WITF’s Public Media Center in Harrisburg on display during regular business hours through April.

“My career as a graphic designer and eventually, art director started immediately after obtaining a BFA degree from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, PA. Even though for many years it was a successful career, – illustration, and the fine arts in general, is where I found my true passion.

In 2015, after taking a class that introduced me to oil and cold wax, I found a new source of energy that has motivated me and continues to fuel my creative momentum.  The spontaneity that cold wax and acrylics offer is very freeing and energizing…

As an artist, my goal is to bring others to a place of wonder and rediscovery with emphasis on our ever-changing natural environment.”

The Artist’s reception will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, April 18. This is a free event but RSVP is required for planning purposes.
