(Harrisburg) — PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Police are working to help those traveling to and from the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.

PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler says there is a special link for the Farm Show on PennDOT’s 5-1-1 system for traffic information which will include information on alternate routes to the Farm Show complex, any incidents which may be delaying travel and traffic trends around the complex over the past shows.

Schreffler says motorists should also pay attention to highway information signs as they approach the complex.

“We also have advisory radios in the area, 1670am.  We highly encourage you to listen to listen to them especially if the lights are flashing.  It’s going to be giving you important information about traffic in the area,” she said.

Pennsylvania State Police troopers will also located around the Farm Show complex to help with traffic flow.
