Perry County couple charged with sexual assault, child porn
(Harrisburg) — A midstate couple is facing charges of sexually assaulting a minor, and taking pictures of it to distribute as child pornography.
32-year-old Berry Jo Eckenberger and 43-year-old James David Eckenberger of Perry County face four criminal counts.
If convicted, they could face between 10 and 70 years in federal prison.
The case is part of a federal Justice Department initiative launched in 2006 called Project Safe Childhood.
