(New Cumberland) — Teachers in a midstate district have a new contract, after more than two-and-a-half years of negotiations.

Members of the West Shore Education Association apporoved the deal in a recent meeting.

It raises pay about 12 percent over the six-year deal, which expires at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

Health care premiums will increase, and the district in Cumberland and York counties will also limit its contributions to health savings accounts.
