(Harrisburg) — Rhetoric over “rigged elections” is offending those who actually make sure the vote is legitimate.  That includes the Governor of Pennsylvania.

Governor Tom Wolf says Donald Trump’s repeated claims about a rigged election are offensive and wrongly tarnish a system that works.

“We don’t have problems with fraud, and to the extent that this makes anybody think that we do, that undermines the legitamacy of the democracy that both of these candidates want to run.  I think that’s just a disgraceful thing,” Wolf said.

Goverenor Wolf, a Democrat, supports Hillary Clinton for president.

Trump first suggested in Altoona in August that the only way he could lose Pennsylvania is if “the other side cheats.”

Governor Wolf held a conference call with county elections officials last Monday for a final update on preparations for Tuesday’s vote.
