(Marysville) — Beginning tonight and continuing through the end of July,  a one mile portion of  Routes 11&15 in Perry County will be completely closed for PennDOT’s Rock Slope Safety Project.

The 19-million dollar project involves the installation of wire mesh and fencing to keep rocks from falling onto the roadway.

The road closure starts at 9pm tonight from the I-81 interchange to just south of Ridgeview Avenue in the Borough of Marysville.

For more information, including detours, PennDOT has created a website dedicated to the project at www.511PA.com.
