What to look for on Smart Talk Thursday, July 16, 2015:

Carlisle native Darin Henry graduated from Cumberland Valley High School and Temple University before working in WITF’s programming department in the early 1990s.  By all accounts, Darin was a good employee and well-liked by his coworkers.

But Darin had dreams of the bright lights of Hollywood and headed for the west coast.

As a writer, it didn’t take long for Darin’s talents to be noticed and he landed a job on maybe the most popular TV comedy series of all time — Seinfeld.

During Seinfeld’s run on NBC and ever since in syndication you’ve probably watched at least one episode written by Darin Henry.  Remember the classic Van Buren Boys?  it was written by Darin.

Darin went on to write for other network TV shows like Futurama, Grosse Pointe, The War at Home, and The Ellen Show.

Darin Henry has a new venture though — he has created a comic book series called Sitcomics — saying its TV you read.

Darin Henry will sign copies of his Sitcomics comic books at:

Mechanicsburg
Comix Connection – book signing Thursday, July 16 from 4:30-6:30pm

Harrisburg
Midtown Scholar Coffee Shop Friday, July 17 at 7pm

Camp Hill
One Good Woman Saturday, July 18 from 10am-2pm
