40 cadets join central Pennsylvania State Police troops

(Hershey) — About 40 new graduates of the State Policy Academy are joining troops that cover the midstate.

The bulk of the cadets will be stationed at Troop H, headquartered in Harrisburg.

But the new graduates have also been assigned to Troop J, which has its home station in Lancaster County, as well as Troop L in Berks County.

A midstate trooper also spoke on behalf of the the graduating class – Cadet Christopher Rooney of Schuylkill County.

In total, 106 men and women graduated from the latest State Police Academy.
