Wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery.

(Harrisburg) —Tomorrow morning, thousands of veterans will get a solemn thank you for their service.

It’s eighth year of the Wreaths Across America program.

“These wreaths are on veteran’s graves only, and they number the hundreds of thousands throughout the U.S.,” saysDean Wetzler with the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association.

Volunteers and private donations make the program possible.

In the midstate, wreaths will be laid at gravesites at Fort Indiantown Gap, Lebanon, Hanover, and Elizabethtown, among others.

Veterans graves in private cemeteries will get the wreaths, along with those in national cemeteries.
