Volunteers sought for Turnpike Traveler Advisory Panel
(Harrisburg) — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is creating a new advisory panel to help shape the toll road’s long-term planning process.
Spokeswoman Renee Vid Colborn says a cross section of four-thousand motorists will provide feedback online on a variety of issues.
“We’re hoping to get information from customers on everything from toll rates, to travel conditions, customer safety, road service – all kinds of information,” she explains.
Colborn says members of the Turnpike Traveler Advisory Panel will earn rewards for completing periodic surveys throughout the year.
The initial survey will help determine what those incentives will be. It’s already posted online as part of the pre-registration process.
