A shooter opened fire in at a Walmart Supercenter in Virginia late Tuesday, leaving six people dead and four hospitalized

Three football players were killed and two more people were injured following a shooting at the University of Virginia on late Sunday night

The revamped rules explicitly state that students must only use bathrooms and locker rooms associated with the sex assigned to them at birth.

The victory ends a long losing streak for Virginia Republicans who haven’t notched a statewide election win since 2009.

These states have come to attract far more attention for these votes than they would otherwise receive.

Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring announced an investigation into whether there has been an unlawful pattern of misconduct with these particular officers or more broadly with the Windsor Police Department.

The complaint alleges that the officers’ behavior is “consistent with a disgusting nationwide trend of law enforcement officers, who, believing they can operate with complete impunity, engage in unprofessional, discourteous, racially biased, dangerous, and sometimes deadly abuses of authority.”

Trail Days, a popular festival that features a parade, auction, music and more, was canceled last May in Damascus, a small town of about 1,000 near Virginia’s border with Tennessee.

“Yes, that statue has been there for a long time. But it was wrong then, and it is wrong now — so we’re taking it down,” Gov. Ralph Northam said.
