State calls time out on high school winter sports just before the first tip off

Pennsylvania schools allowing more sports fans after court ruling

A number of districts have opted to go their own way. The Eastern Lancaster School District will allow up to 1,000 people into its stadium, and up to 148 for indoor events like girls volleyball.

Wolf relaxes restrictions on fans in stands at school sports

The revised guidance says that “spectators may attend sporting events,” but they count toward the statewide gathering limits of 25 people indoors and 250 people outdoors.

Pennsylvania board clears fall school sports to begin

The board voted 25-5 on Friday to allow high school football, soccer, tennis, field hockey and other fall sports to go on as planned. There was no discussion.
