Mount Nittany Medical Center seeing record number of COVID-19 patients

In a recorded video message, executive vice president Tom Charles said Mount Nittany Health expects to hear from the Department of Health on Monday, Feb. 1, about the next shipment of vaccines and plan to share that information on its website on Feb. 2.
The number of patients being treated at Mount Nittany Medical Center for COVID-19 also reached a new high on Wednesday. According to the hospital, it was treating 46 inpatients, aged 43 to 95.
As of Wednesday, there were 14 COVID inpatients at Mount Nittany.
