Children’s book aims to normalize and educate people about breastfeeding

Dr. Amaka Nnamani, author of “Ziora’s Quest: Mommy’s Milk Rocks!”, Pediatrician and Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for Pennsylvania American Academy of Pediatrics, Amara Nnamani, co-author of the book, Ola Nnamani, inspiration for the book, joined us on Monday’s Smart Talk to discuss their book and the importance of children being informed about breastfeeding.

Lancaster City 10-year-old and his mom host an art show for good cause

Lucas Kreider and his mom, Lauren Kreider, created Peace Kids to the Rescue Art Show and Silent Auction to bring about peace through art and raise donations for Church World Services and Lancaster County Homeless Coalition. To date, they’ve raised over $10,000 for those two organizations and hope to raise more this year.
