New data from Pennsylvania’s Department of Education shows that the pandemic has caused a small, but significant enrollment decline at traditional public schools, while increasing the share of cyber charter students.
The proposal would close all cyber charters in Pennsylvania by the 2020-21 school year.
Gov. Wolf introduced a charter reform proposal this summer, which included specific measures that could limit cyber charter school growth.
