He spoke with NPR on Thursday afternoon about the state of the bureau and how the FBI is confronting white supremacist and militia-based terrorism. He also addressed the ongoing investigation into the recent shootings in the Atlanta area.

“I didn’t see the report myself even until after the 6th, but the way in which it [was] handled … strikes me as consistent with our normal process,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Wray is set to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee for what will be his first public testimony before Congress since a pro-Trump mob ransacked the Capitol almost two months ago.
