Hang Tough: Dick Winters in Normandy
This June, the late Dick Winters, a Lancaster County native and longtime Hershey area resident, will be honored in Normandy, France and WITF will be there to cover it.
A statue in the likeness of the leader of the Band of Brothers will be unveiled near Utah Beach in honor of the leadership displayed by all junior U.S. Military officers during the Normandy invasion on June 6, 1944.
