How to help -- Starting Over: Life in the Midstate After Hurricane Maria

(Harrisburg) -- Central Pennsylvania has taken in thousands of evacuees from Puerto Rico. For many, the transition has been a challenge and now six months after Hurricane Maria, relief efforts are still ongoing. Many of the regions Hispanic Centers and community aid organizations haven't received additional funds for Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief, causing financial strain and challenges. However, they're committed to helping families start over.

If you'd like to help or provide assistance (donate clothing or supplies, offer driving services, volunteer time/skills, etc.) here's a list of organizations to contact:
