June pick of the month: "Tell Me How It Ends" by Valeria Luiselli

Written by WITF STaff | Jun 1, 2017 3:01 AM

"Tell Me How It Ends: An Essay in 40 Questions" by Valeria Luiselli offers a distinct view of the immigration system. The book is structured around questions asked to undocumented children facing deportation. Luiselli interviewed children and their families and used policy reports, fact sheets, newspaper articles, and more to document the lives and policy issues involved in the immigration crisis.

"I wanted this essay to change the language around how we think of immigration," Luiselli told Rolling Stone

"Tell Me How It Ends" is available at Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg.
